In fact TV Christchurch runs over seven separate broadband TV platforms. The only channel with programmes scheduled to run at specific times is the main TV Christchurch channel, now available on TV to those with a Play TV set-top box. The new Broadband TV channel is accessed through this website, and will feature loads of great stuff about the town, the people who live here, the events, activities, places to see, things to do, and even some of the top events on at the town's entertainments venue The Regent Centre.You'll find features, current affairs and news, interactive features and entertainment - all made by and for Christchurch.
We'll be looking to make programmes celebrating the lives and loves of Christchurch people, have something to entertain and inform families, some lively debate, show people thinking of moving here that the town lives up to its slogan 'Where Time is Pleasant', and, above all, putting YOU in the picture.
TV Christchurch is a social enterprise involving the Christchurch Community Partnership, the Chamber of Trade, interested individuals, and has the support in principle of Christchurch Council.
